Lon Chaney

He's amazing or should I say was. I'm so in awe by his acting and the way he sinks into a role. I just finished 2 Chaney films and was left breathless. I'm not lying these were to die for films. First was "The Unknown" and that movie shocked me and excited me at the same time. I knew what was going to happen but I was still enthralled. I was disgusted with the character and wanted to look away but I was glued to the screen by Chaney's ability to make him so real. He's was so sick in the head, selfish, twisted and cruel yet I felt so sorry for him. He was a circus freak with no arms and used his hands as arms and he is madly and I mean madly in love with his assist who has a fear of men and their sickening pawing hands upon her. So there's the set up, of her only trusting a man with no hands. Oh, get it? But what if it was all a lie? What if this kind, trusting man that couldn't harm a fly, with his no arms actually had arms? How far would go for the women you love more then your own right arm? I'm going to leave it at that and tell you to rent the freaking movie.
